Disc Golf Setup participates in two affiliate programs:
- Infinite Discs Affiliate Program. Most disc-buying links on this site point to infinitediscs.com. When you click and buy a disc, we earn approximately 7% of the sale.
- Amazon Associates. A few accessory links point to Amazon. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases at the standard Associates rate.
Does this affect our recommendations?
We recommend the same discs we'd recommend if there were no affiliate program. The 3-disc starter pack we recommend (Aviar / Buzzz / Leopard) is the community-standard answer on r/discgolf — it predates this site and predates our affiliate involvement.
We do not recommend more expensive discs to inflate commissions. The starter pack tops out at $29.97 across all three discs because that's what beginners should actually buy. Premium plastics and stamped editions cost more, but we don't push them on new players.
Trust signals
- Transparent flight numbers. Every flight number is sourced from the manufacturer's official page. We don't make up data.
- Real prices. Prices come from Infinite Discs's actual product pages and are scraped automatically. We don't quote made-up prices.
- No paid placements. Manufacturers don't pay us to feature their discs.
- No "best ever" hype. If a disc is wrong for new players, we say so explicitly — even if not recommending it costs us a commission.
